Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress, and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She gained notoriety for her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot TV series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she quit and obtained a GED. She continued, however, to obtain the Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of improv comedy.
